Les grands écrivains
This game of 12 families consists of bringing together 4 illustrations relating to the same writer to form a family, then bringing together as many families as possible.
Whoever gets the most families wins (rules of the game in French and English on 2 of the 50 cards).
Each time you pass a card, you have to say the name of the writer and that of the illustration; the child quickly knows them by heart….
We even cut out the pictures from an old game and play without the texts: no problem at the age of 7!
