It is an emblematic vegetable that you can sow in small pots and then replant in the ground with the children, especially since leeks are easy to grow!
WHEN TO SOW ORGANIC LEEK SEEDS IN THE VEGETABLE GARDEN?
Depending on the variety, leeks can be sown at different times of the year. The Hannibal "summer and autumn" leek that we offer in this seed kit is sown during winter and early spring: from December to April.
WHEN CAN WE HARVEST LEEKS FROM THE CHILDREN?
The leeks will be ready for picking in early summer to mid-June, and until mid-October.
HAVE YOU EVER SEEN LEEK FLOWERS?
Leave a leek or two in the ground so that the children can observe their large flowers which will turn into seeds and which you can then sow again.
