WHEN TO SOW ROCKET?

Arugula can be sown from February to June, then again in September and October. Arugula does not like hot weather, when its stem will tend to grow too quickly and produce flowers, then seeds. It is then said to "go to seed". You should therefore not sow rocket in the middle of summer!
Once sown, the arugula will be ready in about a month and a half to two months. Good to know: arugula can also be eaten in the form of microgreens ... And it's delicious!
Sowing arugula: indoors or outdoors? In the garden or in containers?
Children can sow arugula seeds wherever they prefer: in the garden, in planters, or even in small earthen pots.
For the climate, your best bet is to plant the rocket outside, so that it does not get too hot. What's great is that arugula doesn't really stand the cold!
Side buddies from the garden: Juliette la Roquette is a great friend of Rémi le Radis. Children can sow them both in a single bin or in the same corner of the vegetable garden.
