December 1980, New York City.
On Sunday night, at approximately 7:00 p.m., an anonymous neighbor's call alerted 911 to shots fired at Frank Bucco's home in the impoverished Brooklyn neighborhood.
Police broke down the door, which was locked from the inside, and discovered a crime scene. The neighborhood investigation in this dilapidated building yielded nothing conclusive. The other tenants are poor families and drug addicts who are suspicious of the police.
