Night covers the dark alleys with its dark cloak and only certain areas are lit by the light of the gas lamps. Eight investigators have come together to track down Mr. Jack, who is still nowhere to be found ... Mr. Jack is very smart, he is hiding under the identity of one of them!
Mr Jack is an asymmetric game for two players. Each player has a different goal.
One player takes the role of investigator and the other that of Mr. Jack.
The investigator must find out what identity Mr. Jack is hiding under and then catch him.
Mr. Jack is trying to take advantage of the darkness to leave the neighborhood for good and is doing everything possible to delay the investigation.
By successive inferences, placing the characters in the shade or in the light the investigator reduces the number of potential suspects and tightens the noose around Mr. Jack. Will he manage to capture it before the eighth round?
The objective of the player "Mr. Jack" is to manage to escape the investigator before dawn or to leave the district taking advantage of the darkness.
The objective of the "investigator" player is to find out what identity Mr. Jack is hiding under and to arrest him before dawn.
