To win the game, you will need to create stacks of tokens or steal your opponent's. Moves are 1, 2 or 3 squares depending on the value of the token at the top of the stack you are moving. You can move a stack only if you control it (with a token of your color on top). A single token can only be stacked on top of another token, and the stacks can only be placed on the other stacks. To move your pieces, you can only go through the occupied squares. The more the boxes become empty, the more rare the paths to take. You will have to anticipate the blows to come.
