Les Semeurs sont en danger, menacés par une force inconnue que même la Grande Génothèque ne parvient à expliquer… Les rapports s'amoncellent et se ressemblent désespérément : des planètes de l'empire Semeur se vident de leur énergie au point que leur dislocation est désormais inéluctable. Si le phénomène se poursuit, l'Empire sera quasiment coupé en deux, ne laissant que le périlleux détroit d’Hélion comme seule voie de communication.

The Sowers are in danger, threatened by an unknown force that even the Great Genothèque cannot explain ... Reports are piling up and desperately resemble each other: planets of the Sower empire are draining of their energy to the point that their dislocation is now inevitable. If the phenomenon continues, the Empire will be almost cut in half, leaving only the perilous Strait of Helion as the only means of communication.
The emergency is to evacuate the planets on the outskirts of the affected area, on the borders of the Skall Empire. They are dozens, Sowers colonies or friendly planets, at the mercy of galloping nothingness. The set of Arches-Daughters available to the Sowers will not suffice for such an exodus; new ones must quickly be built, which must surpass the old ones in every way…
The players are the Representatives of the Castes of Séréis, in competition to develop the project for these new ships. To do this, they have outstanding negotiators, who will use all their influence to acquire the plans for the modules to be built and recruit the best crews.
But in a Sower society where only success counts, their opponents will not hesitate to use the powers and divisions of the 6 castes of Séréis, to make them fail and enter in their place in the great book of history of the Sowers!
