Carpenters of the North Sea: Second Wave is set in the early years of the Viking Age, around 800 AD. As Viking carpenters, players compete to build the largest fleet in the North Sea. Players must collect wood, wool, iron, and recruit artisans to help them. Gold is a precious commodity that must be spent wisely. As you would expect, the village is filled with bad characters and worse! Better to have them on your side!

Second Wave is an entirely new game, designed to replace the original version of Carpenters of the North Sea. The original game is not required to play this new version. Also included is hardware compatible with the North Sea Rune Saga.
