1994, Catherine Nicol and Philippe Lemoine, as a couple in the city and on the screen, created l’Oiseau Bateau.

The story begins in the South of France, on the markets, where the first products, large generous and colorful cushions, the turtle, the snail and the frog already draw the spirit of a brand.

A brand that owes its name to the first words of Carla, their daughter, who always wanted to see birds and boats.

The great adventure then took the road to Valence, in the Drôme, where the company and a dozen employees are still there today.

In the meantime, there have been personalized and joyful embroidered backpacks, clever and welcoming baby wedges, there have been majestic and mischievous elves, girl lamps & boys, radiant and graceful, the schlumpeters, improbable metalloids... and the others.

Among the childish craftsmen of l’Oiseau Bateau, the history of creations has built the creation of history.
